2. Scope of Application:
Apply to melt refining treatment of Aluminum and its alloys.
3. Operation Instructions:
It should be removing the scum from the surface by the drossing flux before refining treatment.
(1). Manual Operations: The refining flux granule are evenly sprayed into the aluminum molten by the blowing device and stir to homogeneous. Skim the slag after 10 to 15 minutes.
(2). Temperature: 720℃～760℃.
(3). Dosage: 0.07～0.13% of the total metal weight.
(4). Note: the above recommended using method has many differences, which depend on the type and size of users’ furnace, impurity content and grades of liquid aluminum , and different temperature. At first time, please determine the appropriate method of operation and technology through the sampling analysis.
